The Walk and Middle Distance Meeting
ESET WMD-NIGHT is an international athletics meeting for the walking and middle distance disciplines, scheduled at Busto Arsizio (VA) Centro di Atletica Leggera Angelo Borri on April 27th, 2025.
In the 2024 edition, Eset WMD-Night ranked 57th in the world and first in Italy in the World Athletics Special Competition ranking.
The right method to set records
Our meeting has always been a point of reference for coaches and federal technicians of middle distance running, first only Italian and then in the last 4 years also international.
The formula has always been to make pacers available for the achievement of national records or the achievement of minimum participation for international summer events. In the last edition alone, 2 national records were achieved in the 600 meters (Horvat - Slovenia and Gronstad - Norway), 2 best Italian performances Under 23 (Pernici and Coiro) 1 World Leading U23 in the 1000m with the Frenchman Paul Anselmini.
